Sunflower Kiwanis

Sunflower Kiwanis Club will meet for breakfast at 6:45 a.m. in dePaul Hall, Via Christi Hospital.

Lindy Lawson will open a short business session with the Kiwanis Defining Statement. Singing will be led by Elwyn Davis and Phil Carter.

Program will be a bed turning by Darlene McLaren, Debbie Walker and Elma Hurt.

Rotary Club

Pittsburg Rotary Club will meet at noon in dePaul Hall, Via Christi Hospital. Program will be presented by area high school football coaches on the upcoming season.

Joe Grisolano will give the invocation, and Ron Clement will serve as song leader. Richard Oler will have introductions, and sergeant at arms will be Michael Hayslip.

Lions Club

Pittsburg Lions Club will meet at 6 p.m. in the Sheridan Room, Via Christi Hospital. President Bill Gray will preside.

Program will be presented by Pittsburg High School band students who attended the Kansas State Lions Convention.

Senior dance

Homer Cole Community Center will host a senior dance from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Area musicians will play music for dancing and listening.

Attendance fee is $1. Those attending are asked to bring a finger food. The center will provide coffee and punch. Anyone needing additional information may call 231-9773.

TOPS KS 1120

TOPS KS 1120 Pittsburg will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room at 2608 N. Walnut. Weigh-in will begin at 5:15 p.m.

Mission of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is to support members as they take off and keep off pounds sensibly. The organization offers an Exchange program with no special foods to buy and weekly private weigh-in. Annual membership is $28 for adults 18 and older. Children aged 7 to 17 and spouses of members may join at half price. The first visit is free. Anyone needing additional information may call 620-235-1790.

Elks bingo

Pittsburg Elks Lodge, 2312 W. Fourth, will host bingo night, open to the public. Mini games start at 6 p.m., followed by regular games at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments and beverages will be available.

Arma bingo

ARMA — Arma American Legion will have bingo night, starting with early bird games at 6:30 p.m. Regular games will follow immediately after the early bird games.
