Monday afternoon, the Pittsburg Police department executed a narcotics search warrant at 1806 S. Broadway with the assistance of the Crawford County Sheriff’s office and the Pittsburg State University Police Department.

Law enforcement initially encountered a single male subject upon serving the search warrant, but had contact with three additional occupants of the residence as the search warrant was being served.

Upon searching the residence, investigators located drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance that is presumed to be marijuana.

As a result, two men were arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail for possession of a controlled substance and possession of misdemeanor drug paraphernalia.

Arrested were 23-year-old Devon Roshawn Branch and 22-year-old Jameel Imir Townsend.
