Pittsburg Public Library has announced artists whose work, including paintings, drawings, mixed media and photographs, will be on display in the library through August.
Artists currently exhibiting their work are Kim Allison, Todd Allison, Nancy Arthurs, Christina Blair, Lori Brecheisen, Scott Brown, Belinda Brumfield, Marv Dahmen, Rod Dutton, Pam Gilchrist, April Huninghake, Joe James, Catherine Jepson, Al Letner, Ruth Miller, Steve Seybold, Richard Shaw, Frank Smardo, Paul Smith, Jenna Spencer and Jill Van Dieren.
The public is invited to view the artwork during library hours. Pittsburg Public Library’s Art in the Library was started in 2011 as a program aimed at showcasing talents of local artists and bringing an awareness of art and culture to the community. Local artists are invited to submit artwork to the library and it is reviewed and installed by the PPL Art Committee. Displays are rotated twice a year.
