The Fall Classic at Arrowhead XI was a odd game to cover, with moments of really heavy rain and several weather delays as lightning storms moved through the area. This wasn't the only game along the line delayed as games in Lawrence and Columbia were also affected by the weather. Football is also such a game of momentum and there were big swings of it in this game. Pittsburg State grabbed the early lead and held on to it for most of the game. But, that momentum came into play late as Northwest Missouri State got control of it and didn't give it back after they claimed the lead. The season continues with another big game this weekend that will be just as interesting to cover. They are all different and each game tells its own chapter to be added to the overall story.
