One thing I can count on this time of year is a very busy Saturday. Spring is in the air and activities seem to be taking place everywhere. Last Saturday I ended up with four news and two sports assignments. This makes for a long day, but I love the photo opportunities. The secret for me is to stay focused on the present and not think about the deadlines I have or the weather or the assignments waiting for me after I finish up where I am at. I need solid photos from all my assignments. I treat every one with importance and do the best job I can. It is very rewarding at the end of the day to look back and see the places I went, the people I have met and the stories I was able to illustrate visually.
