Pittsburg State junior wide receiver John Brown caught three passes last Saturday against Missouri Southern during a 26-14 Gorilla victory at Fred G. Hughes Stadium in Joplin. In the process Brown set a school career reception record passing Ronnie West with 124 catches. The season didn't end the way Pittsburg State had hoped. They will not defend their national title. But, they did end their season with a victory and can build on that when off season work begins in preparation for next season. I decided to take a look back in my files over the past couple of years to find some of the photos of John Brown I was fortunate enough to capture of his record breaking career with another season left to add to those numbers. I have added a link below to a gallery of images from the game.
