For several years now, when the Christmas season begins, I get an assignment to go and photograph gingerbread houses that have been entered in the Pittsburg State University Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations annual gingerbread contest. I do photograph the houses, but what I always end up photographing and what attracts my eye the most are the details. All of the little things that add up to make the big picture and give the houses their character. I love creativity and there was plenty to be found in the gingerbread house creations entered in the contest this year. I have added a link below to a photo gallery of images from the houses entered.
