The area high school football teams are about half way through their seasons. So, I have added a few photos from my coverage of the season up to this point. It has been exciting and definitely competitive. The photos here are a look back, but at the same time I am looking forward to covering what happens in the next few weeks. Should be a lot of fun to watch and photograph.

St. Mary’s Colgan senior receiver Nate Grimaldi hauls in a 26-yard touchdown pass Friday night from senior quarterback Dyson Dechant. Grimaldi, on his 18th birthday, caught four passes for 71 yards and one TD against Columbus at Hutchinson Field, a 30-7 win for the Panthers on Homecoming.

Colgan senior running back Conner Dayton busts loose on a 42-yard TD run in the second quarter, giving Colgan a 13-7 lead over Columbus en route to a 30-7 win at Hutchinson Field. Dayton would later add a 15-yard TD in the fourth and finished his night with 119 yards and two TDs on 19 carries.
