I came across this guy while searching for a feature photo the other night. I have been looking for a way to photograph the fountains at Pittsburg State University Lake at night. I visit often and the lights on the two fountains are very visual. So, I thought I would get that photo. As it turns out I sort of did. Wandering around I happened to notice this spider building its web for the night and I worked until I found a spot (without falling in) that I could frame the spider against the lights of the fountain. I think it worked out pretty well. To bad it isn't late October as the mood of this photo reminds me of Halloween.
