Girard store donates money to city fireworks show

Mini Stop in Girard is dedicating the month of June to the “Giv’em Five” Program for the Girard fireworks display July 3 at Wutke Ball Park.
The “Give’em” Five program is Mini Stop’s way of saying thank you to the clubs and organizations that support our community. Five percent of all fountain drink sales at Mini Stop are collected and donated to a valuable organization each month.
To date, more than $3,700 has been donated to several worthy groups. The month of June is estimated to bring in a donation of $275 - $300 to the Celebrate Girard Events Committee for the fireworks display.
