For several days now, Republicans have been telling us that the decision to move President Obama’s acceptance speech indoors tonight was based not on weather considerations but rather on fear that he couldn’t fill all the seats in an outdoor stadium (see HERE and HERE).
Well, at this writing, thunderstorms are hitting Charlotte (see HERE), and the National Weather Service said an hour ago that there’s an even chance of more storms tonight, as this symbol from the NWS Web site indicates:
