I always say the best way to try as many different beers at one time without making the financial commitment is to go to a beer festival.
Julio’s Liquors of Westborough is hosting its annual New England Beerfest on Sunday from 1 p.m to 4 p.m. The best part is there will be fantastic beer and the festival is free.
Breweries taking part include Allagash, Cambridge Brewing Company, Cape Ann, Berkshire, Cisco, Clown Shoes, Element, Harpoon, High & Mighty, Ipswich, Jack’s Abby Brewing, Maine Beer, Mayflower, Mystic, Notch, Offshore, Opa Opa, Pretty Things, Rising Tide, Smuttynose, Wachusett and Wormtown.
I know beer is the number one attraction to the festival, but I will also be there signing copies of my book, “Beer Lover’s New England.” Stop by, say hi, drink some beers and buy my book.
