Sometimes going to the gym is a production in itself. I need the heart rate monitor, e-reader, the smartphone, the iPod, my gym only sneakers and water bottle, oh my! I’m just exhausted by thinking of having to make sure everything is charged and packed.
Once I get to the elliptical I set up my “command center” so that I can be entertained for the next hour or so jumping from the reading an e-book, to watching a video, to texting, to listening to music, then back to an e- book. I figure that if I entertain my mind, I can trick my body into exercising. But then I realize that I forgot my ear phones. I packed up the “command center” and head to a step class. Oh joy…
