Illinois Department of Human Services officials are seeking vendors and employers for its Career and Job Fair and Disabilities Expo in October.
The expo is dedicated to people with disabilities and their caretakers, and offers services, products and equipment to help them live independently.
The state agency's division of rehabilitation services wants traditional vendors representing employers, educational institutions and support agencies. But this year the event will also feature organizations that offer volunteer opportunities and information about home-based businesses.
The event will be Oct. 19 from noon to 4 p.m. in the Orr Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield.
