Recently some Pitsburg High School students enrolled in either Mrs. Ruth Wood's or Mr. Ben Bernhardt's computer class in the business department, took one (or more) of the Certiport Microsoft Office Specialist Exams. In order to pass these exams, students must correctly complete a certain number of tasks, in a certain amount of time in the software program(s).
They also must do this without any assistance at all. Students must be quite knowledgeable in the use of the software program in order to pass.
Certiport certifications are valuable, professional credentials which are globally recognized standards for digital literacy and desktop computing proficiency. Candidates who certify on these programs are much better prepared for success in both the classroom and the workplace.
