A tea-bagger said, “ I want my country back” ; whatever she meant by that.
Being shouted at by fellow tea-baggers, Republican Senator Graham said, “We’re not going to be the party of angry white guys.”
Republican Newt Gingrich said, “If you seek to be a perfect minority, you’ll remain a minority.”
Mark McKinnon, Republican party strategist said, “ If the Republican party does not expand its tent, its going to turn into a circus, and its going to become a minority freak show that sort of features Rush Limbaugh and Dick Cheney.”
To paraphrase James Carville, “It’s the demographics, stupid.”
The tea-baggers need to get the message — they ARE a minority.
