PITTSBURG — Half a century is a lot of time. A lot of valuable time if those years are experience on the job. Dane Arck is counting on people thinking so.

He’s opened a new business, Arck Construction, Consulting & Management, LLC., and he’s leveraging the biggest strength he has to make it work — experience.

Arck has nearly 20 years of experience in the construction industry. His father, Danny, who is serving as a consultant to the company, has over 40 years of experience. An edge that Arck said is a valuable one.

“I feel bad for a new person coming into the area not knowing much about the industry,” Arck said. “We’re very blessed because that it is not the case with us.

“The company may be new, but we have a lot of experience in the field.”

Arck said that while starting a business can be nerve-wracking, having his father’s support has made a big difference.

“My father’s knowledge and expertise is unmatched,” Arck said. “It gives you a good feeling going into a business like this to not have to go in blind.

“His advice and support have been great.”

The support goes beyond just his father. Arck said both his mother Vicki, and wife, Mandy, have been instrumental in making the company come to fruition.

“They have been very loving and supportive through this whole process, it really helps something come together when your family is pulling for it,” he said.

Arck’s company mostly caterers to commercial clients. He said he is concentrating his company on making the construction process as easy as possible for business owners.

“We offer turnkey service,” Arck said. “We know that opening a business can be difficult, but we can take a lot of that pressure off.

Whether the owner just has an idea of what they want, full plans, or something sketched out on a napkin we can help them.”

Arck Construction will have their official ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 16 at the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce.
