Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Boore of Girard, will celebrate their Golden 50th Wedding Anniversary with a reception from 2:00-4:00pm, Saturday, September 22, 2012, at the Girard Public Library. Marvin Boore and the former Judy Garner were married August 31, 1962, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, rural Girard. Marvin is a preacher for the Baptist Missionary Association for most of their married years. He is also retired from Craw-Kan Telephone. Judy is retired from the Crawford County Assessor’s Office. Hosting the reception will be their children, spouses and grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to share in this special day.
