Mr. and Mrs. Robert Coomes of Frontenac, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, March 4, 2012, with family, by going out to dinner, followed by a small cake reception. Robert E. Coomes and Roberta J. Whitty were married on March 3rd, 1962 in Miami, OK. They have 2 children, Ben Coomes, and Kyra Hensley, both of Frontenac; 3 grandchildren, Keele Allen and husband Travis Allen, Karsyn Hensley, Natalie Coomes and 1 great-grandson, Karter Allen all of Frontenac.
