The children of Richard H. and Thelma (Alexander) Farley happily announce their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. They will be honored at a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. November 14, 2009 at the Girard Public Library. Richard and Thelma were married on November 14, 1959 in Franklin, KS. They have three children, Gena and Alden Allen, Girard, KS, Richard W. and Laura Farley Franklin, KS, and Julie and Ronnie Becker Oswego, KS. They have four grandchildren, Kayla and Kevin Allen and Justin and Jessica Becker and one great grandchild, Blake Becker. Richard is retired from FMI in Girard and Thelma is currently employed by Girard Medical Center.
