Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Denise McLeod, Pittsburg, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Dee, to Mr. Josh Buckle. Josh is the son of Jody and Susan Buckle, Girard and Bryan Sleeper and Kathy Buckle, Farlington. Whitney is a 2005 graduate of Girard High School. She graduated from Pittsburg State University in May of 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Josh is a 2004 graduate of Girard High School. He is employed as Assistant Manager with Locke Supply in Pittsburg. The wedding will take place on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Thorne Crown Chapel in Eureka Springs, AR. A reception will be held for the happy couple, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at St. Michael’s Catholic Hall in Girard.
