Gary and Leana Gier, Hepler, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Tosha Marlene Gier, to Grant Benjamin Carson, son of Marlin and Ellen Carson, Girard. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Geneva Gier, Girard. The bridegroom is the grandson of Bill and Deane Carson, Frontenac. Tosha is a 2005 graduate of Girard High School and is currently attending Pittsburg State University majoring in Business Administration. She is employed by University Bank in Pittsburg. Grant is a 2003 graduate of Girard High School and a 2007 graduate of Pittsburg State University with a degree in Automotive Service Management. He is currently employed by Parsons Auto Parts. The wedding will be held March 6, 2010 at the First Christian Church, Girard. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
