Anthony Joseph (AJ) Elmer and Megan Ann Peterson announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Megan is the daughter of Dallas and Connie Peterson of Mound City, KS and granddaughter of Gene and Patricia Davis of Fort Scott. She is a 2006 graduate of Fort Scott High School and 2008 graduate of Fort Scott Community College. She currently works at UMB Bank in Fort Scott. AJ is the son of Donald and Cindy Elmer of Pittsburg and Debbie and Cole McGowan of Huxley, Iowa. He is a 2002 graduate of Southeast High School in Cherokee and a graduate of KLETC. He is currently a firearms instructor and a Law Enforcement Officer in Fort Scott. A November wedding is planned.
