Lloyd and Teresa Humble, Arma, have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Ashley Humble to Kris Nelson, son of Kathy McCabe and Robert Nelson, Frontenac. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Joan Westhoff, Walnut, and Dale and Patricia Humble, Girard. Ashley is a 2005 graduate of St. Mary’s Colgan High School and a May 2009 graduate of Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Ashley is employed at Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center. The groom-to-be is the grandson of Reva Heitman and the late Claude Harryman, Arma. Kris is a 2001 graduate of Frontenac High School and a July 2003 graduate of Missouri Welding Institute. Kris is employed at Progressive Products, Inc. The couple is set to marry on October 10, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac, KS with a reception to follow. The couple will reside in Pittsburg, KS.
