Joe and Becky Leek of Pittsburg have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Joy Beth, to 2nd Lt. Brodie John Holmes, son of John and Joanna Holmes of Pittsburg. Joy is the granddaughter of Otto and Jesse Ossana of Arma, KS and Wayne Leek and the late Dorothy Leek of Fort Scott, KS. Brodie is the grandson of Margie Eichhorn of Pittsburg, KS, Larry Lucas and Virginia Dutton of Weir, KS and the late Mary Holmes Morrel and James Milton Holmes. Joy is a 2004 graduate of Pittsburg High School and graduated from Pittsburg State University in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Brodie is a 2005 graduate of St. Mary’s Colgan and graduated from Pittsburg State University in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Brodie is a 2nd Lt. in the United States Army and is currently a Gold Bar Recruiter for the Pittsburg State ROTC program. The couple will marry on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pittsburg, KS.
