Melissa Leedom and Matt Hellwig, both of Overland Park, Kansas, announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Dave Leedom of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Cindy Leedom of Overland Park and Pete and Jo Ellen Hellwig of Pittsburg, Kansas. Leedom, a graduate of the University of Kansas, is a project manager in pharmaceutical research at Quintiles. Hellwig, a graduate of Pittsburg State University and Wichita State University, is a relationship manager at Wells Fargo Bank. A September 15, 2012 wedding is planned.
