Sara is the granddaughter of Mike & Judy Leighty of Columbus, David & Carolyn Edwards of Oswego, Chris & Larry Tawney of Manhattan, and John R. & Mary Bueltel of Topeka. Ryan is the grandson of Glenn Jr. and Twyla Peak of Cherokee. A June 2013 wedding is planned in Pittsburg, Kansas.
