Melissa Sebring and Adam Papish were united in marriage on May 9th, 2008 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawnee, KS. Father Craig Maxim performed their double ring, candlelight ceremony at 6:15 p.m. Mothers of the couple were escorted by the groom. The processional entered to "Canon-D". The bride was escorted by her father as "Only Time" was performed. "God Bless The Broken Road" was playing as the couple lit their unity candle and signed their marriage license. Frank Papish and Tony Papish, brothers of the groom performed the duties of best men. Groomsmen were Adam Windsor, John Rexwinkle, and Terek Wilson, friends of the groom. Stephanie Sebring was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cara Price, Heidi Himebrook, Elizabeth Dow and Amy Newbold, friends of the bride. Molly Emert and Megan Rexwinkle, friends of the couple, were scripture readers. Eric Strueby, James Campbell, and Brian Chard, friends of the groom, seated the guests. Candlelighters were Dawn Strueby and Brandy Campbell, friends of the couple. Ring bearer duties were performed by Eli Hall, friend of the bride and groom. Rylee Neighbors, niece of the bride was their flower girl. Guest book hostesses were Dana Keeler and Jaclyn Busch, friends of the couple. Following the wedding, a sit down dinner and a dance were held at the Lake Quivira Clubhouse in Shawnee, KS. Parents of the couple are David and Diane Sebring, Roeland Park, KS and Frank and Sharon Papish of Frontenac, KS. Maternal grandfather is W.M. Sebring Jr., Naples, Florida. The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica and reside in Olathe, KS.
