PITTSBURG —
Carol Parnell and T. Lynn Parsons, of Pittsburg, announce their recent marriage on July 14th, 2012 in Grove, OK. The marriage took place at the Grove First Baptist Church, followed by a reception/dinner/dance at the Cherokee Yacht Club on Grand Lake of the Cherokees. Their children, Nick Parnell of Ardmore OK, Joshua Parnell, Olivia Parsons, and Luke Parsons participated in the wedding. Many friends and family attended. Carol (formerly of Mound City) is the daughter of Sharon (Staton) & Don Carr of Stilwell, KS and Denton, TX. Lynn is the son of Ted & Neva Parsons of Pittsburg. Carol’s grandparents, now deceased, were Hazel & Claude Staton of Pleasanton. The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas. They are now at home in their newly purchased home in Grove, OK. It was a great wedding and a happy time!
