Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Harlan were united in holy matrimony on October 17, 2009, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The bride is the former Julie-Anne Bouchard Borden, originally of New Bedford, Massachusetts and more recently a resident of the Girard area for several years. She wore a sleeveless sheath dress in a glowing shade of taffeta with a matching bolero jacket. The bridesmaid, Deborah Borden, daughter of the bride, wore a teal blue satin sheath cocktail dress. The bride was given in marriage by her three sons, Joseph, William and Benjamin Borden. The flower girl, Shelbe Borden, wore a teal blue, flowing chiffon dress. Grandsons Spencer Borden and Justin Harlan were ring bearers. The best man was James Harlan, son of the groom. The couple will make their home in the rural Farlington community.
