Heather Jean Reeves and Braden James Peak were married November 15, 2008 at the First Christian Church in Parsons, KS. Rev. John Bain performed the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of David and Jean Reeves of Parsons, KS. She is the granddaughter of Bettie Nash and the late Albert Nash and Evelyn Reeves and the late Ernest Reeves. The bride graduated from Labette County High School in 2002 and Pittsburg State University in 2006. She is a teacher and coach in the Northeast School district in Arma, KS. The groom is the son of Jim and Kathy Peak of Girard, KS. He is the grandson of the late David and Arlene Peak and the late Junior and Una Buckle. The groom graduated from Girard High School in 1995 and Pittsburg State University in 1999. He is manager of Roto-Rooter in Pittsburg. Heidi Reeves, sister of the bride, served as the Maid of Honor. Alex and Skyler Peak, nieces of the groom, were candle lighters, and Ayvri Nash, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl. Kourtney Peak, sister of the groom, was the guest book attendant. Donny Peak, brother of the groom, served as Best Man. Bobby Beyer, friend of the groom, and Bo Smith, cousin of the bride, were ushers. Cameron Peak, son of the groom, was the ring bearer. A dinner and dance reception was held at the Elks Lodge following the ceremony. Dinner was prepared by Tony Nash, uncle of the bride. The three tiered wedding cake and the groom’s cake were created by Kim Verga. Following their honeymoon, the couple resides in rural Mulberry.
