Quilt guild to host ‘Exploding Star’

Teajuana Mahone, St. Louis, will present an “Exploding Star” quilt workshop for the Little Balkans Quilt Guild from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 19 in the Leffler Life Center, Presbyterian Church.

This scrap or charm quilt can be completed in any size from a wall hanging to a king bed quilt. 

Cost of the workshop will be $30 for guild members or $35 for non-members, plus a $7.46 pattern cost. Lunch will be included in the registration fee.

Anyone needing additional information or wishing to register for the workshop should contact Theresa Vaughan at 232-2275.

Mahone will also present the program, a lecture and trunk show on scrap quilts, at the Little Balkans Quilt Guild April meeting at 7 p.m. April 19 in the Leffler Life Center. All area quilters may attend.
