Pittsburg High School sent 19 students to a Math Relays competition at Fort Scott Community College.
Seven high schools participated in the event, and the Dragons placed second.

Seniors — Joanna Liu, first in simplifications, word problems and potpourri; David Beckenhauer, first in number theory and fifth in algebra; Patrick Johnson, second in graphing and fourth in functions; Alison Percy, second in set theory and fifth in functions; Jace Erwin, fourth in potpourri; Josh Reed, fourth in computational; and Danny Phalen, fifth in computational.
Juniors — Scott Martin, first in functions and simplifications, fifth in equations.
Sophomores — Logan King, first in graphing and fifth in word problems; Jessica Ewing, fourth in set theory; Zach Baden, first in functions; and Alexis Youvan, fourth in potpourri.
