American Legion Auxiliary
American Legion #182 Ladies Auxiliary will have their annual veterans card party at 7 p.m. at the Legion Hall in Arma.
Members and guests are asked to bring a snack and 10 dimes to play bingo. A $5 donation will be accepted with all proceeds going to the veterans gift shop in Winfield.
Treble Clef Club
The Pittsburg Treble Clef Club, a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs, will present their November program, “Parade of American Music: Singing the Songs of Stephen Foster”, at 1 p.m. in the parlor of The First United Methodist Church, 5th & Pine. A trio by Mary Akins, Phillis Scorse, & Lois Amershek will sing “Come, Where My Love Lies Dreaming” accompanied by Elizabeth Brill. Phillis Scorse will accompany the singing of “Beautiful Dreamer” and “Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair”and “My Old Kentucky Home”, “Old Foks At Home”, “De Camptown Races”, and “Oh Susanna” will be accompanied on the autoharp or mountain dulcimer by program chair, Mary Akins. Dorothy Resoner will present the Course of Study and Carole Bowman the Song of the month. Co-hostesses are Dorothy Resoner and Elizabeth Brill.

Men’s Fraternity
Men’s Fraternity, a weekly men’s group, will meet at 5:30 a.m. at Homer Cole Community Center, 3003 N. Joplin. Sponsored by Grace Place, Men’s Fraternity explores what it means to be a man and how to pursue a life of authentic manhood. For more information, call 670-4510
