Northeast USD 246 breakfast and lunch menus have been announced for the week beginning Nov. 12.
All meals are served with milk. Elementary breakfast menus will be as follows:
MONDAY
Cereal, yogurt, fruit juice.
TUESDAY
Cinnamon tastries, string cheese sticks, chilled pears.
WEDNESDAY
Biscuit, sausage gravy, fruit juice.
THURSDAY
Chicken biscuit, chilled pears, fruit juice.
FRIDAY
Mexican scrambled eggs, tri-tators, mandarin oranges.
Lunch menus will be as follows, with the second entree choice available only for junior high and high school students:
MONDAY
Hamburger or chicken tender salad with roll, sweet potato tots, fruit cocktail, chilled apple.
TUESDAY
Chicken nuggets or chef salad, whipped potatoes, fresh broccoli, pineapple tidbits, fruit juice (9-12), oatmeal roll.
WEDNESDAY
Northeast chili or chicken tender salad, baby carrots, applesauce or chilled apple, cinnamon rolls, cheese cup (9-12).
THURSDAY
Grill chicken sandwich or chef salad with roll, garden salad, seasoned wedges, fresh kiwi, chilled pears.
FRIDAY
Mac and cheese or chicken tender salad, meatballs, seasoned peas, baby carrots, wheat roll (6-12), orange or peaches.
