PITTSBURG —
A total of 106 units of blood were collected during an American Red Cross blood drive Sept. 25 and 26 at Countryside Christian Church.
Steven Hoyle was honored at the event for donating his 100th unit of blood. The next blood drive will be Nov. 27 and 28, also at Countryside Christian Church.
Canteen volunteers were Bea Martel, chairman, Carolyn Burchfield, Jon Burchfield, Mary Butler, Elizabeth Mangile, Suzanne Marshall, Lala Payne, Betty Schmidt and Ann Younger.
Escorts were Donna Backes, chairman, Joe Beauchamp, Maxine Conrad, Jim Huddleston, Connie Huddleston, Pam Owings, Guy Owings and LeRoy Younger.
Working in registration were Dolores Kennett, chairman, Irene Arnold, Meg Ashmore, Peggy Bennett, Kathy Ebbs, Phyllis Merrill, Eleanor Snider, Sandy Sparks and Beverly Tustin.
