Retired City Employees

Retired City Employees Club will meet at 11:15 a.m. at the Corner Bistro. All retired city employees and their spouse/friend may attend.

Friday Study Club

Friday Study Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. at the Crestwood Country Club. Dr. Steve Scott, Pittsburg State University president, will present an update on PSU.

Senior Citizens Club

Pittsburg Senior Citizens Club will meet at 1 p.m. in Lincoln Center for a business session and bingo.

Members who show  their support for breast cancer awareness by wearing pink to the meeting will have the chance to  win prizes.Anyone needing  additional information may call the Pittsburg Parks and Recreation Department at 231-8310.

Caregiver group

A free caregiver support group will meet from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center, 3003 N. Joplin.

Caregivers may come and spend time with others who are going through similar situations as themselves. Refreshments will be served. Anyone needing additional information may call Terri Chapman, 417-483-2638.

International Gathering

There will be an international gathering at 6 p.m. in the lower level of Grubbs Hall, Pittsburg State University.
This will be a cultural program presented by PSU students from Germany. Refreshments will be served. The community is invited to attend the free event and learn more about Germany.
International gatherings are held once a month highlighting a different country. They are sponsored by the PSU International Programs and Services Office and community volunteers. Anyone needing additional information may call 235-4680.
