Heart of the Heartlands Corporation and the SKOL Railroad are again sponsoring their annual fall Pumpkin Patch train ride on Oct. 13 and 14.
The train will depart at 11 a.m. both days from the Carona depot. The ride to the Wood’s Family Pumpkin Patch will take approximately one hour. Passengers will leave the train and be taken by wagon to the pumpkin patch. Children will be able to play on all of the patch’s attractions, and lunch will be available. The train will return to Carona between 4 and 5 p.m.
Seating is limited and reservations are required for the rides. Anyone needing additional information may call 620-396-8594 after 5 p.m. or check the web site at www.heartlandstrainclub.org.
