Treble Clef Club
Treble Clef Club of Pittsburg will meet at 1 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church.
The program, titled “Only in America,” will be presented by the Bells of the Balkans under the direction of Janis Saket. The group will perform “An American Fantasy” arranged by Cathy Moklebust, “A Cohan Celebration,” “The Best of John Williams” and “Gershwin!” all arranged by Douglas E. Wagner, and “My Heart Will Go On” by James Horner, arranged by Kevin McChesney.
Lois Amershek, club president, will also preside over orientation. Phillis Scorse will be program chairman, and co-hostesses will be Saket and Mary Akins. Song leader will be Mary Wilson.
Treble Clef Club is a member of the Kansas and National Federation of Music Clubs.
Arma Auxiliary
ARMA — American Legion Auxiliary No. 182 will have a monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Arma American Legion Hall. Steffie Peternell, president, will conduct upcoming business.
Hostesses will be Frances Ryder and Mary Ryder. Membership dues are now being collected for 2012-2013. Anyone needing additional information may contact Linda Vail.
Masonic Lodge
Pittsburg Masonic Lodge No. 187 will have a monthly stated meeting at 7 p.m. at the Masonic Center, 3105 N. Joplin.
Dinner will be served for members and guests at 6 p.m.
Girard City Council
GIRARD — Girard City Council meeting, scheduled at 6:30 p.m., has been postponed until Thursday because a majority of the council members will be attending the Kansas League of Municipalities conference in Topeka.
Guitar Club
First Pitt Guitar Club will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays at the First Christian Church.
All guitar players may attend. Groups will be available for beginners, for chording, soloing and other topics, which will change each week. Those attending should bring their guitars.

GIRARD — TOPS Group #0975, Girard, meets Mondays at the Girard Presbyterian Church. Weigh-in begins at 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., with the meeting following.

Frontenac card games
Card games will be played from 1 to 4 p.m. every Monday except holidays at the Frontenac Senior Citizens Building. Primary game is pinochle, but any card game is welcome.

Private weigh-ins are from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are designed to provide motivation and support to help members reach their weight loss goals.
