Sunflower Kiwanis
Sunflower Kiwanis Club will meet for breakfast at 6:45 a.m. at Via Christi Hospital.
Program chairman Elwyn Davis has invited Russ Jewett and the Pittsburg State University cross country team.
The club’s annual Christmas party will be held in the evening at Wesley House and members are asked to bring a toy for the Toys for Tots campaign.
The club is continuing with its flag program, with proceeds funding community projects. Flag chairman is Carole Robb, 620-230-0467.
Veterans representative
A veterans representative will be at the Homer Cole Community Center from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

NARFE
Chapter No. 0550, National Active and Retired Federal Employees will meet at 11:30 a.m. in the Bosco Center, located in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church basement, Frontenac.
Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m. Guest will be Gary Kilgore, Area IIA vice president. There will be discussion on earned benefits. All federal employees, active or retired, may attend.

Pittsburg Lions Club will have a board meeting at 6 p.m. in the Sheridan Room, Via Christi Hospital.
Music/dance night
Senior dance and music night will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center, 3003 N. Joplin.
Area musicians provide music for listening and dancing. There is a $1 admission fee, and those attending are asked to bring finger foods and potluck. The center will provide coffee and punch. Anyone needing additional information may call 231-9773.

Chapter IO, PEO, will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Crestwood Country Club with Eleanora Belew and Marilyn Noble as hostesses.
The musical program, “Holiday Bells,” will be presented by Cynthia Woodburn.

Chapter AQ, PEO, will meet at noon at the home of Kim Scripsick. Co-hostesses will be Ronda Ison, Elaine Lingor, Chantal Marji, Barbara Rhodes, Samantha Rhodes and Krista Smith.
This will be a social, and the annual holiday auction will be held.

Members of Chapter CP, PEO, will have their annual Christmas celebration with their daughters at 6 p.m. at the home of Gina Pinamonti. Brandee Johnson, Julie Hamilton and Kristin Maceli will be assisting hostesses.
Daughters and granddaughters joining in the festivities will be Annie Cortes, Kaitlin Hamilton, Rylee Johnson, Morgan Prather, Katie Phalen, Isabella Pinamonti, Zoe Ellen Pinamonti , Sophia Pinamonti, Aubrey Piccini and Delaney Cedeno.

Chapter CJ, PEO, will meet at 6 p.m. at 1509 Vine for a Christmas party social. Hostess will be Pat Jones, with Stella Hastings and the holiday committee as co-hostesses.
The party has been planned by the Christmas social entertainment committee comprised of Pat Jones, Rita Bicknell, Carolyn Perry, Aubrey Jones and Marty Sours.
Scottish Rite
FORT SCOTT — Coffee and doughnuts will be served at 8 a.m. every Tuesday at the Scottish Rite Center, 110 S. Main, Fort Scott.
There will be no set agenda or predetermined topic, simply conversation among friends. Everyone is welcome to attend, and need not be Scottish Rite members or Masons. Men attending are welcome to bring their wives or friends.
ARMA TOPS
ARMA — The ARMA TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays.
Chapter meetings include private weigh-in, information on good nutrition, educational programs and moral support and encouragement to help members reach their weight loss goals.

ARMA — Arma American Legion will have bingo night, starting with early bird games at 6:30 p.m. Regular games will follow immediately after the early bird games.

Pittsburg Elks Lodge will host bingo night, open to the public. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with card sales at 5:30 p.m. and mini games at 6 p.m. Regular games begin at 6:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available.
