AARP board

Crawford County AARP Chapter 646 board of directors and committee chairmen will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center to plan December programming and conduct other business.

Martha Roberts, president, will preside. New secretary Barbara Cooper will be taking the minutes.

Nile sewing day
Azrim Temple No. 81, Daughters of the Nile, will meet at 10 a.m. at Mirza Shrine to quilt and sew for  patients in Shrine Hospitals.

Lunch will be served at noon by the appointed officers with Debra Cummings as chairman.

Frontenac Rotary
Frontenac  Rotary Club will meet at noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Frontenac.

This will be a club assembly. No program is planned, but members have a number of projects to discuss.
Francis Buche will be Rotarian of the Day. Teresa Shouse will serve as greeter, and Leo Sievert will be sergeant at arms.

Penne pasta and meatballs will be served for lunch.

Liberal Ladies cancelled
Liberal Ladies Who Lunch will be cancelled this Wednesday.

Church concert
The Master’s Three, composed of Jim Reaves, Elvun Willard and Robert Hudson, will sing at 7 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church, located at the corner of the US 69 Highway and Highway 47 junction.
