Christian Women’s Fellowship

Christian Women’s Fellowship, a new Christian lunch club open to everyone, will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Parrot Bey. Speaker will be Jack Bache, executive director of the Pittsburg Family YMCA.

Anyone needing additional information or reservations may call Dee Montgomery at 231-2442 or 249-3899.

Masonic Lodge
Pittsburg Masonic Lodge will have a special meeting for degree conferral at 7 p.m. at the Masonic Center, 3105 N. Joplin.

Degree team is requested to assemble at 6:30 p.m.

Quilt Guild
Little Balkans Quilt Guild will meet at 7 p.m. at the Pittsburg Presbyterian Church.

Following a 30-minute formal meeting will be small group demonstrations on various quilt piecing techniques. Guests are encouraged to attend guild meetings and share with members in the monthly show and tell.

American Legion
Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will have a business meeting at 7 p.m. at the post home, 2815 N. Joplin. An executive meeting will follow.

Guitar Club
First Pitt Guitar Club will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays at the First Christian Church.

All guitar players may attend. Groups will be available for beginners, for chording, soloing and other topics, which will change each week. Those attending should bring their guitars.

Girard TOPS
GIRARD — TOPS Group #0975, Girard, meets Mondays at the Girard Presbyterian Church. Weigh-in begins at 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.,  with the meeting following.

All interested persons may attend. Yearly membership is $28 and monthly dues are $5.

Frontenac card games
Card games will be played from 1 to 4 p.m. every Monday except holidays at the Frontenac Senior Citizens Building. Primary game is pinochle, but any card game is welcome.

Snacks and beverages will be available. Anyone needing additional information may call 230-0707.

TOPS No. 599
TOPS No. 599 (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at College Heights United Methodist Church.

Private weigh-ins are from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are designed to provide motivation and support to help members reach their weight loss goals.

Visitors are always welcome. Anyone needing additional information may call 620-719-7813.
