PATH

PATH meeting for February will be held at 1 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center.

The program on “Heart Health” will be given by Anna Beth Gilmore, MSN, APRN, Pittsburg State University nursing department. There will be blood pressure and blood sugar checks, refreshments and door prizes.

The meeting, sponsored by Angels Care Home Health, is open to all area senior adults. Registration fee is $1.

Treble Clef Club
Pittsburg Treble Clef Club will meet at the home of Judy Hix.

Course of study will be presented by Mary Akins, and Carolann Martin will have the song of the month. Program chairmen are Mrs. Hix and Donna Cox. Co-hostesses will be Isa Schott and Lois Amershek.

Program will be “Carmen,” a concert suite for two pianos/four hands, composed by Georges Bizet and arranged by Richard  Simm. It will be performed by Mrs. Hix and Mrs. Cox.

Arma Auxiliary
ARMA — Arma American Legion Auxiliary No. 182 will have a monthly business meeting at 7 p.m. at the Arma American Legion Hall. Hostesses will be Mary Ann Bartelli and Brenda Prince.

Masonic Lodge
Pittsburg Masonic Lodge No. 187 will have a monthly stated meeting at 7 p.m. at the Masonic Center, 3105 N. Joplin.

Dinner will be served for members and guests at 6  p.m.

Girard TOPS
GIRARD — TOPS Group #975, Girard, will have an open house from 6 to 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Girard.

All persons interested in losing weight or wanting to learn more about TOPS may attend.

Guitar Club
First Pitt Guitar Club will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays at the First Christian Church.

All guitar players may attend. Groups will be available for beginners, for chording, soloing and other topics, which will change each week. Those attending should bring their guitars.

Frontenac card games
Card games will be played from 1 to 4 p.m. every Monday except holidays at the Frontenac Senior Citizens Building. Primary game is pinochle.

Snacks and beverages will be available. Anyone needing additional information may call 230-0707 or 620-457-8063.

TOPS No. 599
TOPS No. 599 (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at College Heights United Methodist Church.

Private weigh-ins are from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are designed to provide motivation and support to help members reach their weight loss goals.

Visitors are always welcome. Anyone needing additional information may call 620-719-7813.
