CLASS LTD and the Foundation for CLASS, Inc., will host the 22nd annual Southeast Kansas Holiday Ball and Auction Nov. 21 at the Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium.

The charitable event benefits southeast Kansas residents with intellectual and other developmental disabilities through the Foundation for CLASS, Inc.

Theme will be “Unwrap the Magic.” The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. with music by the Pittsburg State University Student Brass Quartet. A performance by the CLASS Choir will follow upstairs in the auditorium.

Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. by Crabby’s Seafood Bar and Grill. The evening will feature a live and silent auction. Highlighted items will include themed decorated Christmas trees, lots of electronics and numerous gift items. A “Champagne Diamonds” auction will be part of the activities this year.

Mike Lewark will serve as emcee. The band “Sober as a Judge” will provide dance music throughout the evening.

“We have received such generous support from the community for this event for over 20 years,” said Cindy Divine, CLASS community relations director. “It’s a fun evening with the proceeds benefiting persons with developmental disabilities in southeast Kansas.”

Reservations are required, and advance tickets for the event are $60 per person. Interested persons may call 1-800-479-0259 for reservations and tickets. A portion of the ticket price and all donations are tax-deductible contributions to the Foundation for CLASS, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
