Galena Educational Foundation to host Kansas Route 66 Idol Contest

The Galena Educational Foundation will host the Kansas Route 66 Idol Contest at 7 p.m. March 28 at the James C. Christman Performing Arts Center, Galena.
The contest will provide four-state singers an opportunity to showcase their talents. Prizes will include a studio recording session and a personal promotional package.
Auditions by mail-in recordings must be received by March 7. Interested persons needing additional information may call the Galena School District Board of Education Office at 620-783-4499, ext. 1100.
All proceeds will be used to fund the Galena Educational Foundation’s college scholarship program.
