Mulberry breakfast
MULBERRY — Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Mulberry Senior Citizens Building.
Featured will be biscuits and gravy, pancakes and sausage patties, juice and coffee. Proceeds will go to city projects and activities.

‘Trunk or Treat’
ARMA — Northeast High School FCCLA, in partnership with Lifetrack Church, Frontenac, New Life Nazarene Church, Girard, and several other local groups, will host the annual Trunk or Treat Safe Halloween Event from 6 to 8 p.m.  around the corner from University National Bank, Arma.
The street will be blocked off, and people will distribute candy from their car trunks. There will be costume contests for youngsters aged 5-15 at 6:30 p.m.

Harley-Ween Fun Run
Fort Scott Community College and Skills-USA will host its annual Harley-Ween Fun Run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harley-Davidson Training Center, located three miles north of Pittsburg on US Highway 69.
Poker hands will be given out for a suggested donation of $5 per hand, or five hands for $20. All of the money raised will go into Skills USA for students to use to build their professionalism and leadership skills.
Registration will begin at 11 a.m., and the first bike will go out at 11:30 a.m. Last bike will be out by noon. Last bike will be due in by 3 p.m. 
Live music and bike events will start at 2:30 p.m., and winners for all events will be announced at 4 p.m.
Four State Scooter Boosters will hold a 50/50 drawing, with proceeds going to 4 State Scooter Boosters for graduation. Food and refreshments will be available for a suggested donation of $5. All ages may attend. Vendors are welcome.

Fall festival
Victory Life Church will have a fall festival at 5:30 p.m. with free food, candy, games and blow-ups. A hay ride will end the evening.
The festival will be open to the entire community.

‘Fright Flix’
Colonial Fox Theatre Foundation will present a special “Fright  Flix” Halloween double feature at the former Pittsburg National Guard Armory.
The Mel Brooks classic “Young Frankenstein” will be shown at 7 p.m., for a suggested donation of $3. “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” will begin at midnight, with a $5 donation suggested. Prop bags for the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” will be available for $1.

Pittsburg Farmers Market
Fall fresh food drive and festival will be held from 7:30 a.m. to noon at the Pittsburg Farmer’s Market, Second and Broadway.
Vendors will hand out treats to children. Those who wish are encouraged to come in costumes, with a costume contest planned for children and adults. There will also be a carved pumpkin contest for adults and children, who should bring their carved pumpkins to the market.
Eyeball soup — ham and bean soup with “spooky  eyeballs” in it — will be served at 11 a.m.  Those who get an eyeball in their soup may enter to win a prize. Free fall photos will be taken of children until supplies last.
Fresh produce, baked goods, naturally raised meat and other items will be available. Those who wish may purchase fresh food from the vendors and donate it to Wesley House. Donors may sign up for a drawing to win gift certificates from area businesses. Drawings will be held at noon.
