A benefit dinner and auction for Dale “Dirt” Westhoff will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. June 7 at the Girard American Legion.
Westhoff recently suffered a major stroke, and is in the process of recovery. Donations will help with his medical and other expenses.
Dinner, available for a free-will offering, will include pulled prok, baked beans, green beans, potato salad, slaw and desserts. Carry-out will be available.
Auction items will be displayed throughout the dinner, with the live auction beginning at 7 p.m.
The event is sponsored by friends and family, the Girard American Legion, Girard Sons of the American Legion and the Girard American Legion Auxiliary.
