Edd and Ruth Bradney

Edd and Ruth Bradney of Pittsburg celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary October 15, 2009. Edd Bradney and Ruth Saporito were united in marriage on October 15, 1949, at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, Scammon, Kansas, by Fr. Herbert Hertle. Edd retired from Metropolitan Life and Farm Bureau Insurance Companies. Ruth retired from Riley County Clerk’s Office, Manhattan, Kansas. They have one son Ed Bradney and wife Jill of Lawrence, Kansas, 2 grandsons, Joshua of Evansdale, Iowa and Tyler of Topeka, Kansas. One great-grandson Carson of Topeka, Kansas. They will celebrate with the immediate family at a later date.
