Melvin and Mary Jo Scales

Melvin and Mary Jo Scales were married June 3, 1959 at the First Methodist Church in Pittsburg, KS.  The couple has 3 sons; Dan Scales and wife Rhonda; Dennis Scales and wife, Jenette; and Mark Scales and wife Shandi, all of rural Pittsburg. They have 7 grandchildren; Amy Wilbert, Lee Summit, MO, Trista, Kyle. Ashley, Zach, Amber and Wyatt Scales, all of rural Pittsburg and two great grandchildren, Kaleb and Paige Wilbert. The occasion was celebrated with a surprise dinner and dance at the Lamplighter Inn on June 7. The event was hosted by their children and grandchildren.
