Rodney and Karen Odgers

Dr. and Mrs. Rodney K. Odgers will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary on June 30. Karen Horvath and Rodney Odgers were united in marriage on June 30, 1973 at the First United Methodist Church, Manhattan. Dr. Ogders received his medical degree from the University of Kansas in 1974 and completed his residency in internal medicine in 1977 in Wichita. He opened his medical practice in Pittsburg on July 18, 1977. Mrs. Odgers is a 1972 graduate of Baker University and is employed by USD 250. She is secretary to the athletic/activities director at Pittsburg High School, and also works in the PHS Career Center. Dr. and Mrs. Odgers are the parents of two children. Their daughter, Monica Odgers, is a registered nurse at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Their son, Jarvis, is in physical therapy school at Wichita State University.
